A Feast of Asian Home Design Ideas

Highlight Events

Since its inception in 2012, the Design of Designers (DOD) has been a driving force for innovation and a key platform for promoting China’s original design. It is recognized as the pioneer exhibition for nurturing emerging design talent.

Serving as a bridge between designers, brands, manufacturers, and distributors, DOD offers an efficient platform for communication, collaboration, and trade. The event gathers top domestic and international design talents and collaborates with leading design media in China to host a variety of exciting design activities, witnessing the rise of Chinese original design on the global stage.

Limited Space, Infinite Beauty! Genie Award – Aethetics Space Design Competition, hosted by the Maison Shanghai, co-organized by Hui Design, and supported academically by the China Habitat Environment Research Center, focuses on soft decoration aesthetics.

The competition breaks the boundaries of interior design, aiming to discover outstanding talent and emerging leaders in the soft decoration industry, aligning with consumer trends, enhancing market competitiveness, and driving innovation and sustainable development in China’s soft decoration industry.

Everything Can Be a Scene! The Aesthetic Show, now in its second edition, selects brands and recruits designers to create soft decoration and spatial expressions within a specific theme in a limited space. The participating brands’ products extend beyond home furnishings to include fashion, beauty, home appliances, and other lifestyle categories. This event not only showcases the designers’ aesthetic and styling abilities but also provides a platform for deeper connections between brands and designers.

The Deconstruction & Reconstruction Series aims to unveil furniture showing the hidden layers. From electric stands to furniture fabrics, from foam filling to hardware accessories, the exhibition upgrades secondary components of furniture materials into main displays. Visitors will have the opportunity to directly touch raw materials and understand the process from material to finished product.

As one of the city-wide activities of the 2025 World Design Capital, this event aims to explore how intelligent technology can be seamlessly combined with artistry and functionality to create interior design works that satisfy the increasing demand for personalization in the era of technological advancement.

With the theme “Innovation · Luxury · Life,” this event brings together top designers and luxury estate works from both domestic and international markets, offering a comprehensive display of the latest concepts and trends in luxury home design. The event will showcase a wide range of luxury design solutions, from interior layouts to outdoor landscapes, building materials to smart home systems, providing a high-end platform for real estate developers, investors, designers, and upscale consumers to connect and collaborate.
